Mt.Dhaulagiri is Seventh Highest Mountain in the world with an elevation at 8167m (26795m) above the sea level. The name Dhawalagiri comes from Sanskrit word, where “Dhawala” means Dazzling & white. It is one of the holiest mountains for Hindu and Buddhist. The mountain extends 120 km from the Kaligandaki River west to the Bheri. At a first time, mt Dhaulagiri successfully climbed on 13 May, 1960 by Internation Group (Swiss, Austrian and Nepali). The mountain is 34 km east of Mt.Annapurna I (8091m). From the Summit of Dhaulagiri, the southern part of Nepal, Bihar and Utterprades (UP) can be seen clearly. Also the mt.Dhaulagiri is best to see the view of most of the high altitude mountain peaks of Nepal.
